Several hard jabs by Despaigne. Miranda tries to shoot his jab upward with his body angled off so his right shoulder is squared to his opponent. Despaigne isn't finding his face cleanly but is still landing his jabs to the head. Miranda hooks to the body, and goes a bit low. Big lunging 1-2 by Miranda, repeated as he loses balance. Miranda is getting owned badly in the exchanges. Miranda's legs look very shaky!! They trade two and three power shots at a time, with Miranda very rickety but still throwing back. Despaigne is taking his time, blocking and popping off short powerful combos on the inside. Left hooks and right hands. Miranda is trying to answer back, but not landing. Miranda misses a jab and a wild right. Counter right by Despaigne, and another. Clinch. Miranda tugs Despaigne into the ropes before the break. Wild hooking combo inside by Miranda misses, leaving him chopping at air as Despaigne simply steps back out of the pocket. Hard right uppercut by Miranda lands flush on the chin but didn't have a lot on it. A retracted jab sets up a hard clubbing overhand right for Despaigne.
