Fair enough, i wouldnt cry robbery, but i had this fight clearly for DR. Wolak threw a lot of punches but he wasnt putting anything into it. DR was snapping, hard clean shots.

I feel bad for DR. but it was an excellent fight.

If either guy nicked it, IMO it was Rodriguez (obviously, with him up by two on my card).

The draw is nothing to ***** about, and neither would be 96-94 Wolak.

...neither is the 97-93 Rodriguez card, though.

That's about as wide as the acceptable swing goes in either direction though, accounting for the few excruciatingly close rounds.

97-93 would be too wide for Wolak, and 98-92 would be too wide for Rodriguez.

If the judges that scored PW vs Lara were here it would have ended with 98-92 on two cards for Wolak .

Well it's 4am here and I'm ****ing glad I stayed up for that. Can't complain about a draw, especially if it means there is a rematch :D

Saw final 5 rounds and i thought Rodriguez should've gotten the W from what I saw. And surprised they let wolak continue, seen fights stopped w/ much lesser injuries and doubt he could see out of the eye in the final 2 or so. smoger should've separated them more too. wolak, maybe cuz of the eye, could only fight by leaning and putting his head on rodriguez and trying to hold him on the ropes

Rodriguez landed the cleaner shots and even seemed to have Wolak hurt. Wolak threw more but didn't land clean. Feel bad for DR, got the raw end of the deal. Just look at Wolaks face. Tells the story, DR not even a stratch

Actually it's probably more beneficial to him than all his other fights combined. His name recognition just increased exponentially and both guys should be better compensated next time around.

96-94 DR is the correct score imo. But I have no problem with the decision.

They'd have ended up with something more like 107-89.

I miss Larry Hazzard so very much.
I pretend that firing him was the reason Corzine lost to Chris Christie.

Gotta agree here, even though I gave Wolak's pressure a little more credit. When Rodriguez turned the momentum around though, he turned it around big.

I think the score of 97-93 for Rodriguez is a bit much, but it's not beyond the realm of reason.

I would ***** about a 96/94 wolak. I had DR by 3 rds. Clean, effective punches IMO.

I wont ***** because it was tremendous in fighting. But, tonight Wolak had a favorable decision with a draw.

A draw was just fine! The profile/exposure both will get from that fight will give them some paydays in the future!

Wolak has no future in boxing apart from being a journeyman/low level entertainer, if he can't beat what is basically a poor welterweight what chance does he have against decent competition.

Great fight. FNF should come out with a DVD set for this year.
