ESPN2/3 FNF: Pawel Wolak vs. Delvin Rodriguez RBR

Nope. I woulda said the same thing prior to last week.

Wolak is a great ACTION fighter, but make no mistake about it..... he's not that good.

Lara is a completely different class of fighter, and would counter the living **** outta Wolak.

How QUICKLY people forget that Wolak once got schooled by Ishe Smith.

 

one judge had him winning by 4 points. the other 2 judges were blind. delvin throw the more effective punches. many of pawel's punches were smothered by delvin. even the spanish espn commentator had delvin winning. he even said it was a complete robbery

 

One judge had it a bit wide, the other two gave a 100% acceptable scorecard. :deal

 

The judges didn't want the local polish thugs to riot so let him escape with a draw when everyone knows he got beaten.

 

They've been ducking the JMWs for years. Time to man up and take the purse cut for not making weight. To be considered truly great, best cut off a leg and have it fight Nonito Donaire.

 

All the judges had to do was to call in some German and Russian thugs and then the Polish thugs would've laid down on the spot. :yep

Anyhow, as to Wolak v Lara.. Lara did terrible against Molina.. and he'd do just as terrible against Wolak.

Lara is beyond overrated.. and I'd be more outraged over the Williams fight if Lara actually tried more in the fight instead of his 5-10 pot shots a round. He had Williams for the taking, and his lazy ass didn't want to put the effort to actually go for the KO... instead he decided to lay back and "win" a decision.

Wolak would light his ass up, and Lara wouldn't want to deal with that pressure.

Also, re: Cotto.. he's looked borderline shot since the Margarito fight.. he went life and death against an over-the-hill shot Mayorga. Wolak would be the worst possible matchup for him..

I want Cotto to retire, he had a great career.. I don't want to see him get hurt.. his defense has always been terrible.

Wolak would make Cotto look like his prime self again. Miggy would give him a TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE beating, and I for one wouldnt wanna see it.

For the bolded part: agreed. It's one thing to have a differing opinion, it's another to be a shitty troll.

As for the rest, agreed. Wolak stylistically can give Cotto a lot of trouble with his pressure, thus why I want to see how he does against Margo. As for Lara, he's getting overrated because of sympathy for this last fight.
