ESPN2/3 FNF: Tim Coleman vs. Vernon Paris & Art Hovhannesyan vs. Cristobal Cruz RBR

Round 1

Hovhannesyan waves his left up and down, half-feinting with it before dropping a stiff jab to Cruz's stomach. Cruz comes diving in with a 1-2 before burying his face in Hovhannesyan's chest and then wriggling his way back outside. Cruz is circling and rolling his left arm at the socket, thinking about throwing something (or trying to make Hovhannesyan think he is) but not pulling the trigger. Hovhannesyan just lies in wait, slowly but surely walking Cruz down and throwing a few quick right hands up top. Cruz ties up and does some elbowing on the inside, yet Hovhannesyan gets warned for a retaliatory shove. Hovhannesyan jabs and backs Cruz up. Cruz falls in with an overhand right over a Hovhannesyan jab and just grazes him.

He literally never landed anything (clean). He threw like four punches. Hov at least landed jabs.

 

Are you guys having trouble with ESPN TWO or THREE?

I'm watching on TV (ESPN2) and having no problems whatsoever. :huh

 

Round 2

Cruz finally lands his right hand on Hovhannesyan coming in. Cruz is waiting now, hanging on the outside and still rolling his left arm in place. Cruz keeps timing that mousetrap right hand as Hovhannesyan comes near. Hovhannesyan finally answers back after eating a right hand to drive Cruz back with one of his own. Cruz pokes with a jab from far away and then dances away to lure Hovhannesyan on. Hovhannesyan rushes in a bit faster than Cruz was expecting and drops a hard chopping jab and overhand right down on his face. Cruz ducks a 1-2 and grabs.
