Terry keeps trying to throw a high 1-2 but is reaching too much, and falling in with his head thudding against Faragon's chest. Faragon is just whipping pendulums to the body. Terry is completely exposed down there as he leans forward and tries to hold. Faragon takes full advantage of the wide open target, thrashing it. Terry is all hyper energy, bouncing around Faragon and flurrying unnoticed. Faragon is slowly turning and putting good shots together. Left hook has Terry on ***** St. Faragon comes on with hard body shots and Terry tries to hold, grimacing. BIG LEFT HOOK TO THE FACE! Terry tries to dive down and clinch. Faragon has less than a minute. Left hook and right hand to the body by Faragon. Terry is just buckling over as he backs up, in agony. Terry turns his back to Faragon, clinging to the ropes.

The referee doesn't like what he's seeing.

I think maybe had he been taking head shots like that, it might have been stopped. Not that taking too many body shots while defenseless can't do permanent damage, but people tend not to think of it as being as dangerous as cephalic trauma.

 

Good timing for Mikey. He needed that knockout. This was the difference between his KO % (and marketability as an unbeaten prospect in the current climate) rising from 40 to 44 rather than dropping to 37.
