I was just in the middle of typing a post about how Eugene "Rambo" Lagos was yet another game & determined Filipino journeyman, and that he probably earned the 1st round.

(I'm streaming/posting on my phone while cooking dinner so cant do full RBR duties just yet)

Any word on Aaron McKenna? Was told he'd be opening the broadcast.

    Thanks

Green hurt and goes to a knee, another body shot drops him to his knees again for a second knockdown, he says he doesn't want to continue anymore. Curiel wins by TKO2.

Another KO2, except this one saw the A-side unbeaten fighter (Raul Curiel) take out the underdog (Quantavious Green), classic Mexican left hook on the liver.

Never seen Joet Gonzalez before but he should beat Magbanua who isn't all that competitive outside domestic level. Was once a touted prospect many years ago but wasn't good enough to beat decent Filipino gatekeepers in Eric Barcelona and Jason Egera. Journeyman fighter here who I am hoping puts up a good fight, but I definitely don't expect this to be competitive.

Magbanua actually fighting well. Gonzalez content on covering up, looking for openings.

Poor stoppage. Gonzalez wins by TKO5 after Magbanua got up but Gonzalez was dominating Magbanua anyways. This Gonzalez kid isn't very good.

Golden Boy definitely doesn't have a wealth of young promising prospects.

40 minute gap between fights. Disappointing, if there were no more live swing bouts they could potentially air they could at least show more undercard on tape delay so there was seamless continuity of coverage until the ESPN2 broadcast.
