Yes, Gómez, YES. (though I would've liked the ref to allow him the dignity of a cleaner and more authoritatively brutal KO, that stoppage was a tad quick..)

    Gomez - Gibson

    1: 10:10
    2: KO win for Gomez

The first meaningful punch knocks Gibson down and the ref stops it.

Eddie Gómez vs. Sadam Ali was actually something I wanted to see way back when they were prospects on the way up, would love to see it finally come together now for a title (assuming Beefy doesn't pilfer it first)

I'm not sure if Aaron McKenna vs. Jose Palacious (4 rounds @ light middleweight) and/or Jonathan Navarro vs. Gabriel Gutierrez (8 rounds @ light welterweight) got dropped from the card, or are being reserved for live walkout bouts after the main event, or happened earlier but just haven't been updated with results on BoxRec yet...but in either of the latter cases why on earth wouldn't they just spackle them (or at least one, maybe play it by ear for the 2nd, time allowing) into that 40 minute gap on the ESPN3 stream?

    Round 1

McKenna is stepping in and forcing exchanges from the inaugural bell. Palacios stunned by a short right cross while lazily retracting his own jab thrown before McKenna had started his 1-2. A follow-up right has Palacios down to a knee. Up but McKenna is all over him, working the body with hooks. Palacios squats by the ropes and rises with a corkscrew left hook into the jaw of McKenna, showing toughness. Palacios fighting back against what resembles a giant in the ring with him, gracious, wide camera angle shows just what a size disparity there is, you'd think 4 divisions apart. Palacios hit with a body shot and then a clubbing blow to the back of his head, which he complains is a rabbit punch. Ref asks if he wants to continue and then waves it off, unsatisfied with the answer (or the whining).

    KO1!
