    Marie-Francoise braces up against the plodding Laham, and dribbles uppercuts off his chest. Short shoves back by Marie-Francoise, and quick flurries. Laham just grinds in and tries to flap over the top with hooks, and can't reach with most of them. Marie-Francoise is tapping the body and then ducking in to lean and shove against Laham again. Nice body shots by Marie-Francoise. Laham lands an overhand right inside with no effect. Good right uppercut by Marie-Francoise while backing up. Laham grunts and swirls his fists around inside but can't catch Marie-Francoise clean. Uppercut by Marie-Francoise.

    I've seen a ref rule something a knockdown because the ropes kept him on his feet; If the rope catch you and keep you from being knocked down, it should be ruled a knockdown.. you know.. according to the rules.

    I was pretty up for this fight but I have to say it was a let down. Not because the stoppage was crap (I've seen worse). But because once a guy reaches the contender level. Where Stevenson is at now. Its hard to get behind him if you've never seen him take a couple of hard punches. HE didn't get hit once. Kinda a waste of my time considering he didn't get his once. One thing I did notice though is that once he opened up he was wide open. His one-two is tight. But his punches are acurate but his combos are sloppy cause he doesn't get his hands back wick enough.

    Marie-Francoise pushes his left forearm out horizontally into Laham, holding him in place and then wailing away with the right. Overhands and uppercuts by Marie-Francoise with the right. Laham patiently waits for Marie-Francoise to step back and then trails him with a high reaching left hook. Double hook to the face by Marie-Francoise while backing up! Landing very cleanly! Flurry to the face by Marie-Francoise on the back foot. Sloppy ripostes to the body by Laham, catching mostly just lower hip. Looping rights worked over and over by Laham, and Marie-Francoise counters him with a left hook to the exposed cheek. Laham works himself into a lather with a long volley of hard but erratic punches, and Marie-Francoise taps him with a nice neat little combo during a brief trip out of his guard.
