    It's a bit ridiculous to judge things by one performance. Are we now to say Viktor Postol's stock went up?

    Postol is mediocre. Lundy went over there and didn't try, and lost badly. Olusegun showed up tonight and was clueless & inept, and lost badly.

    One bad performance shouldn't define a boxer, and you can't infer things about their recent past opponents from one. :good

    Well, a few things here (just imo)

    * The layoffs cant have helped him. Hes a fighter that thrives on activity.

    * The Matthysse fight had to take something from him. Nobody takes a beating like that with no effects (or very few)

    * Honestly, just imo, when I studied this matchup, I watched fights of a younger Ajose and even then I saw problems that Lundy was gonna cause him (not this bad, by any means) I thought this fight would be close going down the stretch, because I thought Ajose's toughness, will, and activity would take over down the stretch. But Lundy came in shape, and he came focused. And Ajose did not adapt in this fight, at all.

    You can look really good against guys your speeds, but if you cant handle someone else's speed, that is very often going to be the story of the fight.

    Ajose could not handle Lundy's speed. Period. The straight lefts were the punch of the night. And he didn't adapt the way he should have (make it rough, inside fight) to change the way it was going.

    To be fair, Ajose took quite a beating in that fight, maybe that's after taking quite a bit out of him.

    I dont think Matthysses stock dropped at all tonight.

    Theres a difference between, not raising.... and falling.


    His stock didn't raise (the way it would have had Ajose won), but it didn't fall either.

    That's just imo though
