Tessitore makes a good point (for once) - the first three or four were all close enough to swing either way. 5 & 6 weren't. Lundy has firmly taken over.

I watched him a couple of months ago in his Junior Olympics box-off with a kid from nearby Connecticut, whom he absolutely dominated, looking beastly. Then he went to nationals and supposedly got schooled.

I've watched him train and spar a bunch of times over the last year and figured he was close to making the leap. When the JO's didn't work out, it probably seemed like there was no point delaying any further.

 

Round 7

Lundy is backing Olusegun up with right hooks and left hands, all while leaning back and denying Olusegun any return fire upstairs. Olusegun is looking to be paying the price for exerting himself with all the excess gesticulations, feinting, and body work that doesn't seem to have yielded any dividends. Lundy slips the jab moving in and counters with hard left hands on the nose. Olusegun is badly staggered for the entire last minute.
