Ajose is such a tough guy. I love it. Such mental strength. But now is the time to be smart. He needs to realize he cant box from the outside with Lundy.

Atlas has it 59-56 to Lundy.

Tessitore makes a good point (for once) - the first three or four were all close enough to swing either way. 5 & 6 weren't. Lundy has firmly taken over.

    Gerald Schifone. :good

I watched him a couple of months ago in his Junior Olympics box-off with a kid from nearby Connecticut, whom he absolutely dominated, looking beastly. Then he went to nationals and supposedly got schooled.

I've watched him train and spar a bunch of times over the last year and figured he was close to making the leap. When the JO's didn't work out, it probably seemed like there was no point delaying any further.

    He does.

More then one way to skin a cat. Ref or corner stoppage will be how this ends, if it ends early, and Lundy does have the power to cause those, imo. We will see

    Round 7

Lundy is backing Olusegun up with right hooks and left hands, all while leaning back and denying Olusegun any return fire upstairs. Olusegun is looking to be paying the price for exerting himself with all the excess gesticulations, feinting, and body work that doesn't seem to have yielded any dividends. Lundy slips the jab moving in and counters with hard left hands on the nose. Olusegun is badly staggered for the entire last minute.

    10-9 Lundy

    67-66 Lundy

Lundy clearly was planning to give the 7th round away in order to rest, Olusegun still wasn't doing much, Lundy still blocking most of his shots. Then with about 50 seconds left in round Lundy catches Olusegun with a HUGE left, then dominates the rest of the way.

Better round from Ajose. Not because hes doing better offensive work, but basically because hes not getting beaten around the ring.

Lundy getting a little complacent imo, it will give Ajose some openings, we will see if he can capitalize
