Nicklow is tossing up no-look jabs and leaning into Perez low, earmuffs on. Perez is sticking with his proven tactic, luring Nicklow into jabs and short combos high on the scalp, mostly on the backfoot, moving and boxing, tying up and pushing down on Nicklow's head when he gets close, then pulling the rug out from under him as Nicklow tries shoving in to post up and work the body.

Round 6

Nicklow is walking into single jabs, lead uppercuts shot from a high coil by the chest while twisting away, jab-and-uppercut combos, and hooks on the body. Nicklow is unable to lay a glove on Perez cleanly, just marching after him, chin hanging low, gloves up and clamped over his ears. Perez is turning rightward, uncoiling and scoring the uppercut, backing up. Grazing right by Nicklow.

Round 7

Nicklow is working his forearms on Perez like mortar & pestle. Perez counters with a left hook and Nicklow gets in an overhand right in the exchange up close. Perez jabs his way off the ropes and paddles Nicklow on the nose with the left fist while drawing him across the Corona logo. Nicklow presses in and clasps onto Perez. Break ordered. Again Nicklow flops in, attaching himself like a barnacle to Perez's prow. Another break. Nicklow warned for a rabbit punch. Wide undercutting hooks at the body by Nicklow, missing. Perez raises his left shoulder and thrusts it out for Nicklow to impale himself on. Nicklow is just eating punches wading in face-first, billy-goating a bit.

It is (in terms of competitiveness and action), but the quality of skill by TV standards is pretty poor.
