On PolSat. Instead of showing a replay of Szpilka vs. Mollo I like ESPN they're instead showing lots of behind-the-scenes training camp stuff.

Szpilka looks very sharp hitting the mitts.

So is Saleta waiting in the wings for Szpilka if he gets by Mollo, is that what the deal is here?

Why the delay for the live fight?

It's all coming back to me now. How Tessitore and Atlas completely ruined any enjoyment of experiencing this live with their shrill idiocy.

    Predictions for tonight:

Szpilka by KO (being careful to reserve his stamina and not hit the wall again - either knocking Mollo out cold or stopping him on cuts because Mollo will bleed again one way or another)

Fonfara by robbery (or premature stoppage when Campillo starts having Kovalev flashbacks and shells up on the ropes while Fonfara unloads a bunch of blocked shots)

IB, thought you picked Mollo by KO in the prediction league?

I had. Just changed my picks in the leagues. :yep

Knee-jerk reaction to all the training footage, but Christ on a crack-er, Mollo was so unbelievably slow (and so proud of himself for how strong he thought he looked! It was adorable, even while being totally pathetic) and Szpilka really did look sharp putting in the work in prep - even though he looked to have regressed a bit against Minto, which is why my pick was originally Mollo.

Everyone and their mother suspects Campillo can't get a decision. But I'm not in on the conspiracy theory and I think the much classier boxer in Campillo wins clearly enough that they can't take it away from him. Fonfara is just crap, slow feet, sloppy punches, leaves his jab hanging. Outside of only arguably deserving a win over a faded Johnson he hasn't looked good.

It's a combination of Campillo's own history with judges and the aforementioned bad decision (Fonfara over Johnson)...even if Campillo sweeps all ten clearly it'll be nail-biter time awaiting the verdict..
