    High clapping head shot by Cuellar and Marrero loses his footing, glove brushing the canvas to steady himself. Not ruled a knockdown. Left hands by Cuellar roving in. Marrero is spreading his stance and jabbing the body, still looking very unsteady but able to make Cuellar miss a bit more.

    10-9 Cuellar mainly because he should have been awarded the knockdown in an otherwise nothing round.

    Marrero is circling out to his right and jabbing the face of Cuellar from outside. Cuellar doubles the jab to the body and leaps up with a wide left, missing all. Marrero backs away with a matador turn as Cuellar rushes him with another midair left. Cuellar lashes out with overhand lefts coming forward as Marrero turns at the four corners luring him around on the end of the right jab. Nice defense by Marrero, preserving distance and able to fall straight back away from the Cuellar jab without getting touched. Right hook counter by Marrero. Cuellar grabs Marrero and mauls him on the ropes. Break ordered. Quick jab by Marrero, jumping back to the ropes and tyig up when Cuellar parachutes in on him. More straight misses by Cuellar coming forward.

    I don't know. There is an even bigger gap between Broner and Marrero (in efficiency, accuracy, slickness, and intelligence) than between Maidana and Cuellar.
