I thought it was strange that he scored it that way after musing in the 2nd that "Bone gave away the 1st doing nothing, getting warmed up..."

He must have forgotten about that and only remembered that he was supposed to be anti-Montes because of the whole "no heart" thing based on that fight he never saw...

 

Round 5

Bone is throwing big lead rights from the rear hip and swooping in with follow-up left hooks as Montes pulls back. Counter hooks by Montes, just grazing as Bone darts in and out quickly with upper body leans and head rolls. Montes is looking to line up a counter but can't get set due to Bone's quickness, although Bone's offense is growing very sloppy and loose.

Round 6

Montes is stepping through all of Bone's flurries looking to establish a rhythm and find him at the end of his jab. Bone is launching spear-like right hand leads into the long thin chest of Montes and flashing extra punches when Montes' feet stop. 1-2-1-2, hook by Bone. Montes is nodding respectfully, relishing the violence even though he is not dishing much out yet himself right now. Montes is biding his time, coming forward, eating big hooks and feeling out the distance with his jab.

Round 7

Montes is missing with jabs and right crosses as Bone ducks and sidles out, changing the view on Montes every couple of seconds. Montes keeps slowly turning and squaring up as he approaches in first gear, in perfect range for his 1-2 but just unable to pull trigger faster than Bone anticipate it and dodge. Bone is popping in with counter flurries every few revolutions and pulling out low.
