    Osiobe is throwing jabs and uppercuts without setting his feet, getting sloppy as he rotates on his front leg in a compass move. Davis plants a short right hand on him as they press together. Decent right hand by Osiobe as he rolls his fists at his waist. Davis' gum shield is out. It takes the ref a bit long to send them to neutral corners and get the gum shield washed and replaced. Time in. Davis is trotting around Osiobe putting in pot shots with staccato grunting warbles. Osiobe is turning and trying to time him.

    10-9 Davis but close

    In the 1st, I thought maybe this would shape up to be another cool example of the guy with the spotty record taking an unbeaten but untested prospect to school...but no. Davis is just plain better than Osiobe. (although he is plenty flawed himself)

    No need to fear. I'll find out that forums name somehow. Some like GTSK, Slugge etc. were a good laugh. I'll stick to this one. I'm sure the ones who have moved to another forum will come back here some day.

    Osiobe is tossing wild stone-skippers over the top with both hands as he glides in close around Davis. Counter body shots and head hooks by Davis. Osiobe is dancing away from Davis, constantly brushing his back on the ropes as he puts out light jabs. Davis just maintains enough distance to stay within range to dart in with a body shot, but doesn't press for anything more.

    Something like 77-75 for Davis. Osiobe had good moments when he wanted to. Let Davis off the hook regularly. His mistake.

    The forum changed hands. It now belongs to BoxingNews24.com's owner instead of eastsideboxing.com's owner - which explains why the URL and banner & other branding all say "boxingforum24" now instead of the ESB forum.

    The Lounge is gone too. They're going for more of a stripped-down, no-frills "serious boxing talk" sort of vibe. It pissed a lot of folks off, and they regrouped elsewhere. I'm still here, and so are lots of solid guys.
