Maybe Khytrov isn't the savage fighter everyone thought he was

Yeah he is, its his third match this year and just went 8 rounds 3 or 4 weeks ago maybe he's a little worn out. And Coley was awkward and held and ran.

They wouldn't set up a fight for their young up and coming fighter if they knew he was worn out and wouldn't get anything out of it, I guarantee you Khytrov was in great shape for the fight

This is 2 fights in a row where he stepped up the competition, and his opponents took his power without much trouble

Khytrov getting rounds against a tricky SOB is the best thing for him. Wasn't a great performance but it was a good learning fight. No complaints from me. Well done to Coley

When did you turn into a b.i.t.c.h? I never noticed until lately.

Problem is his last fight was a 'getting rounds' fight that would be a good learning experience, and apparently he didn't learn much because he fought exactly the same, if not worse. Didn't set anything up, no jab, came in face first, and was flat footed.

The commentator said Derevyanchenko beat Khytrov in the amateurs, and imo he's the way better prospect, just based on the eye test. It seems like Khytrov wants to rely on his power(which is probably not that great) and chin to succeed in boxing, but at the highest level that isn't enough

Just calling it how I see it man, Khytrov does not impress me at all. There are better prospects out there than him, but for whatever reason he gets all the hype

Can get rounds in more than 1 fight. I like how Kosei Tanaka went 6, 8 and 10 in his first 4 fights. He looked like he could have blown them away earlier but seemed to WANT the rounds.

Derevychenko probably is the more developed prospect but he is quite a bit older isn't he?

Yeah by about 2 or 3 years, which in today's boxing honestly doesn't mean much.

Idk, I really want to like Khytrov, it would be great if the was he next GGG like everyone predicted he would be, but I just don't see it. Looks way too basic for me

So, a finals sweep by Fedosov & Adams no longer looking like a foregone conclusion? :think
