Brandon Adams vs. Raymond Gatica, 8 rounds @ middleweight

 

Round 1

Gatica is marching forward, sticking right jabs up from the hip and looking to plant the left hand on Adams. Backhanded left jabs by Adams while circling at distance, forking right hands into the body and continuing to move immediately after landing, using the impact to push off a bit. Gatica is walking Adams onto the ropes and throwing 1-2s up top, chucking a few left hands under the elbows and scoring on the body as Adams brings the guard up high.

10-9 Gatica, edged slightly on aggression, sealed with the last couple of seconds of nice head to body work.

 

Round 2

Adams is firing his 1-2 and falling back, left shoulder hiked up in front of his chin. Adams bounces around Gatica in wide circles, avoiding the lunging lead left by turning away from it and rapidly moving on the balls of his feet. Adams is spearing in long 1-2s while remaining on the outside. Gatica flips up the right jab from the hip moseying in and out, not really getting a piece of Adams.
