    Round 3

Close round, Carlos came on late, but I felt Cory controlled the early action and did enough late to keep the round.

    10 - 9 Cory
    29 - 28 Spinks

    Round 3

Spinks is backing up and putting out the right jab, not quite reaching across the chasm with it but snapping it well and varying from body to head. Molina waits on the outside and then jumps in during the spaces between jabs and goes to the body. Lots of tying up whenever Molina arrives at his destination, Spinks instantly enveloping him or throwing wide right hooks behind his head that amount to the same thing. Again Molina's unkempt body work carries the day.

    10-9 Molina

    30-27 Molina

The 1st was along the lines of what I was expecting.

The 2nd and 3rd he showed great composure hanging in there and working back into it (but still lost them IMO)

Smith says it was an honor to beat a future Hall of Fame inductee in Castillo.

He says Castillo fought one of his favorite boxers...

    10 - 9 Spinks
think Spinks is coming back hard now, negating the offense of Carlos killing his with left hand counters and right hands while again tying up Carlos on the inside.

    39 - 37 Spinks

Molina never fails to deliver ugly fights. Think I overrated this guy as well. His attack is really one note.
