Algieri is jabbing the body and slouching over deeply to his right, letting Taylor wave a jab in the general vicinity of where his face ought to be, were he standing upright with his neck rigid. Algieri is taunting at close range, making Taylor miss and painting him with the jab, taking it relatively easy this session with the combination work.

He saw Taylor sweeping the 4th-6th. :huh

It was a better triplet of rounds for him compared with the 1st-3rd, but...this has been a shutout. Algieri is busier and getting in the most touches while mostly avoiding Taylor and causing him nothing but aggravation. Inexplicable card, Teddy.

 

Round 7

Algieri is fishing with his jab at mid-range, bouncing it off the gloves and forearms and occasionally the frizzy hairline of Taylor. A bit of southpaw to orthodox switching by Taylor, peering contemptuously out and looking to catch Algieri as his back scrubs the ropes with a cobra-strike 1-2. Algieri covers up and takes it on the gloves, and keeps hopping lightly around Taylor, snapping his jab and leaning too far back out of range for Taylor to catch with his right hands. Taylor is waiting too long to fire back, keeping is arms raised vertically until Algieri has hopped all the way outside.
