Avalos isn't getting impatient or throwing caution to the wind looking for a KO, working behind his jab. Avalos throwing lots of volume at Vicente, not very sharp with the jab but keeping Vicente out with it. Vicente pushes his left arm out into Avalos', frequently colliding, but keeps the right hand sheathed, wary. Avalos jabs, jabs, jabs, mostly churning air, and loops a right to the body.

Round 7

Exchange in the middle of the ring. Avalos is now abandoning the jab and chopping away at Vicente, elbows bent, lefts and rights zipping in. Vicente is slowed to the odd big shot here and there, hanging on the outside, ducking low past his own waist when Avalos pecks in and misses with his light triple jab. Vicente paws up his own jab. Big slapping hook by Vicente, crashing against Avalos' back as they fall into a clinch.

I seriously think he could beat them both at once, in a twelve foot ring..

 

Round 8

They come together and slug - and a headbutt causes Avalos to take a bit of time to recover. Vicente steps back out of the way of Avalos' light triple jab and loads up on some body shots. Avalos chops up top. Vicente brings an uppercut slamming into Avalos' midsection. They get their arms caught, Vicente's right around Avalos' left, and each plugs away with their free hand. Uppercut to the bread basket by Vicente, who then pulls straight back with his chin hanging up. Avalos is thus able to land a pair of rights that steal him the round.
