Marrero is hooking up high and crowding in, pinching his arms together to squeeze out Halili's jabs. A few nice body shots as they step around each other. Halili scoring with the jab, multiplying it after Marrero relaxes following a block. Nice adjustments made as they walk the carousel while remaining squared up. Nice counter uppercut by Halili.

Round 2

Marrero dips into a counter right uppercut from Halili crouching in wait. Marrero jogs left and right, dragging whichever foot isn't thrust out in his current direction, throwing combos into Halili's guard as a diversion while he loads up on his favored left hook to the body. Halili waits patiently and releases the counter uppercut whenever Marrero dips into its turf. Marrero has a split lip. Halili flurries up the middle, brushing Marrero's chest before sidestepping outside. Marrero loads up on a big right hand as Halili pulls straight back and gets his jaw lightly grazed. Hard body combo by Halili.

Nice call. I honestly wouldn't mind a card featuring both of those in a doubleheader, without any "big names" on the marquee. :think
