Down goes Serrano while you expect Abril to go down

10-8 Abril, 28-28 even. Nice counter by Abril to put Serrano down. Teddy's analysis is actually pretty spot on in this fight

Good job Abril! 10-8? Could be 10-10.

Abril whining some more at the bell cause when his clinch failed and he turned his back again Serrano was still throwing.

This will probably be a problem in Serrano's further career... if Abril's stiff jab is enough to put him down :blood

It wasn't a chin thing, Serrano wasn't hurt at all. Bad, bad balance.

    Round 4

Serrano is slapping out hooks to the body and falling in, getting clinched. Abril is backing out upon the breaks and trying to line up his straight left hand but not really following through with any real mean intentions on it. Everything from Abril is short snowfall counters while riding the carousel around Serrano. Lots of clinching, minimal infighting. Serrano tries to get some hooks going, but Abril feeds him some right hooks and soaring lefts in combination and gets the better of it on the inside. They lean together and Abril gets spun around and punched in the kidney. Abril shrugs at referee Dick Flaherty, who shrugs back and doesn't warn Serrano.

10-9 Abril, Serrano's best moments came late and were highlighted by illegal shots to the back.

    38-37 Abril

Serrano isn't a big puncher. I think Abril took round 4.

Something about Abril's attitude in there reminds me of Kermit Cintron. They must be cousins.
