    Socarras is finding Montes de Oca regularly with his counter left hook and right hand, becoming sharper and finding his aim truer with each passing minute. Montes de Oca is still game and hungry, lunging in with straight punches in succession but unable to harness them into his crosshairs. Montes de Oca is punching hard but having trouble "coloring inside the lines", so to speak.

    Socarras is mixing it up to head and body now, with the right hand coming out straight and fast like a crossbow bolt. Left hooks by Socarras are less successful, with Montes de Oca ducking through or underneath and looking to slap a big right hand over behind his jab. Socarras is jumping back and spreading his wingspan out to let Montes de Oca tap him on the chest with just the very tip of a jab. Exchange at the bell.
