    Round 7

Frias scores with a left, but doesn't capitalize as Molina is only momentarily surprised by it. Molina jabs into the dropping head of Frias as the Cuban ducks against the ropes, then fires rights to the larger target between his shoulders. Frias is shimmying and twitching both arms, body feinting. Not throwing anything. Molina dives in with a right to the body, then snaps upright and takes a quick step back in case Frias was thinking of countering (he probably wasn't). Molina jumps in and gets held by Frias, and works the body. Right over the top by Molina.

    10-9 Molina

    70-63 Molina

Frias actually hit him twice that round, clean. Not enough to win the round, though.

I can't say this is one of his better performances, because of how uncooperative Frias is being, but it's one of his better efforts...and should make some headway to curtailing the haters' desire to spread the word about how "ugly and boring a style" he has. :thumbsup

Shutout Molina. I have to give him credit for making taking what is there. Frias looks like he can't adapt to Molina's agles and is over thinking himself stiff

Yeah. He's actually the one pressing the fight and making it exciting. :yep

Frias is the one spoiling and dragging down the aesthetics.

the bigger stronger Chavez Jr couldn't do it in 2 fights.

no way in hell. Teddy said it best. Molina fits in there with anyone. Eventually he will get another big shot and they won't be able to deny him.

I like Molina. He's a SoCal kid, good guy, and easy to root for. He has just underwhelmed in a couple of higher profile fights lately. Calling the Kirkland and Cintron fights ugly and boring is not being a hater.
