Good right to the body by Martinez after some lazy jabs up top (that nonetheless backed Douglin up). They trade recklessly toe to toe with Douglin trying to duck every other shot and Martinez only swaying backward but otherwise eschewing defense. BIG flush left hand to the face by Douglin. Martinez slows his output as they lean together with Douglin still hacking and flurrying. Chopping right hand to the side of the head by Martinez. Long right jab by Douglin backing out of the pocket. Wild hooking combo by Martinez. 1-2 by Douglin sails over Martinez's shoulder. Lots of misses by both as they stay tight and busy. Straight left hand of Douglin bounces off Martinez's nose but does no discernible damage. Uppercuts to the belly by Martinez plowing forward. Right hook by Douglin, who then ducks off to the side to get off the ropes. Lazy jab up top by Martinez, slipped as Douglin tilts his head. They lean together with both their shots getting smothered. Round 4

Long hooking body combos by Martinez as Douglin tries to shoot the gap with that southpaw 1-2 up the middle. Neither is landing very cleanly. They clasp together and fight in the clinch, a lot of taps to the chest and slaps to the head and shoulders both ways. The ref warns Martinez for pushing down on Douglin's head. Nice right hook by Douglin. Right jab of Douglin goes high and wide past Martinez's face. Martinez has his mouthpiece washed. Clinch. Uppercut to the chest by Martinez. Lunging/squatting right hand to the body by Martinez, little on it. Wild miss by Martinez, winds up with Douglin's arm draped over his head. Sloppy fighting in the clinch. Left uppercut by Douglin flush. Martinez traps Douglin's right arm under his own left. They wrestle until the bell.
