Round 1

Rosa is coming forward and holding up his guard catching Diaz's jab. Hook by Rosa. Low blow by Rosa. Time in. Diaz is throwing several punches at once, rolling his upper body as he steps inside, swirling past Rosa's jab and throwing uppercuts behind his own double jab.

Round 2

Diaz is digging with lefts and rights to the body as Rosa steps back and greets him with wide hooks on the face and rights downstairs. Diaz is leading with the jab to the body and getting countered with rights as Rosa steps back. Rosa now switches to southpaw and counters with straight lefts. Diaz is walking into Rosa, head down, throwing shots up top caught on the arms and hooks on the body. Rosa is levering down on the back of Diaz's head and countering.

Round 3

Diaz is putting up the jab and backing out. Rosa swings in with the right hand as he follows. Diaz ducks him and keeps moving, sticking up double jabs. Rosa is coming forward as Diaz pecks into his guard with jabs. Rosa quickens his pace and gets tied up. Double jab by Diaz. Rosa leads with a lashing right and Diaz ducks, taking it on the shoulder and causing him to dip slightly as he steps out. Right to the body by Diaz. They wrestle as Rosa pushes him into a corner. Wide looping shots to either side of the neck by Rosa. Diaz leans forward trying to hold. Rosa steps back and lands some more hooks into the body with Diaz holding onto him. Diaz goes to hands and knees and is given a count.

Diaz was actually winning that round until the last half minute, but obviously with the ruling it becomes 10-8 Rosa.

 

Round 4

Diaz is trading hooks up close with Rosa, then holding on. Every time they separate Diaz is nailed with a hook at medium range as Rosa takes aim while Diaz is leaning forward looking to hook the body and not minding his defense. Big looping right by Rosa upon another such separation and Diaz is down again. He beats the count and begins trying to hold and hook the body. He goes down again, slip. Diaz is jumping in and hacking at the body of Rosa with his arms. Rosa is pushing down on him. Diaz down again, slip. Right to the body by Diaz lunging in low, counter left hook over the back of his head by Rosa.
