Fernando Carcamo vs. Samuel Neequaye, 6 rounds @ lightweight

 

Carcamo has real power; jury's out on whether Neequaye's padded record holds up.

 

Round 1

Neequaye is pressing forward and throwing fat left hooks in the air and on the side of Carcamo. Right hands on the belt line by Neequaye. Carcamo is throwing left hooks on the body hopping in. Carcamo is switching from orthodox to southpaw, drawing Neequaye along, jabbing at him. Right hand lead on the chin by Neequaye. Jay Nady keeps warning them for low blows. WIDE slapping hooks by Neequaye. Counter body cross by Carcamo. Neequaye down! Neequaye moves in and slaps with hooks at the head. Carcamo backs into a corner and digs uppercuts on the body. Short right on the face by Carcamo. Neequaye is applying pressure, jabbing and tossing very loose right hands. Carcamo pulls him into a clinch and Nady shouts at him.

Neequaye is throwing a roaming left jab and very wide slapping hooks on the outside. Carcamo is countering with hard right hands. Neequaye is hurt and holds. Carcamo pushes him across the ring. HARD right hand counters by Carcamo as Neequaye slaps at him. Carcamo is switching to southpaw and throwing left uppercuts behind the right jab. Body shots. Left uppercut by Carcamo! Neequaye down and out!!
