Round 2

Porter works the 1-2 over and over, with Adjaho just leaning away behind his high guard and trying to rip uppercuts across the body. Adjaho comes forward but doesn't punch much, just throwing a single jab. Porter is busy, throwing lots of jabs and a low right but missing all. Porter feints several times and Adjaho just watches. Porter steps inside with a jab and then leaps to his left as Adjaho tries to trade with him on the inside. Porter throws a right uppercut and left hook combo that graze Adjaho through and around his guard.

Round 3

Porter does his usual thing, up-jabbing repeatedly at an incline and flying past Adjaho's head. Adjaho tries to swat at him on the inside and open up an exchange but Porter hangs back on the outside. Adjaho comes forward and Porter flinches without Adjaho even throwing. Adjaho throws some slow hooking shots with both hands and gets ducked. Porter lands to the body while circling on the outside. Hook to the body by Porter and he clinches. Porter lands a quick right hand and then gets on the move. Porter is landing once or twice and clinching up as he turns Adjaho.

Yeah, Adjaho is pretty tall for his proper weight range (130-135) and Porter is pretty short for his (154-160). :yep It's a bit strange.

Remember, Ali Funeka would tower just as high above Felix Sturm. :think

 

Round 4

Adjaho is coming forward aggressively with jabs and right hands to the body. Most of them are straight but he loops a couple with a big step forward and is landing them with loud thuds against Porter's flanks. Porter tries to lead with his own rights but has them go far wide past Adjaho's left shoulder. Adjaho is very economical, poised to block as he comes forward but not in full high-guard. Adjaho lands a nice short hook to the gut. Adjaho is throwing less than Porter (but more than in previous rounds) and landing at a very high percentage. Porter is just going backward and flailing.
