Wow this round opens up with exchanges for a few seconds, then a clinch. Another clinch and Mayfield lands some shots. No another clinch and Forbes trying to work. Still in a clinch. Clinch is broke up.Karim lands a few shots, anddd a clinch. Forbes lands a one two and backs out of the clinch, and back in to a clinch. Double left from Karim. Good right hand form Forbes. Damn good right hand from Karim. I think I'm done trying to describe the rounds for this one. I'll just keep my scorecard posted.

    59-55 Km

    Round 6

Forbes is actually landing some body shots before the grabs (initiated often, with the blame evenly distributed). Forbes lands a nice hook with a giant step inside just after they'd split. Forbes looks arm weary but is picking his spots now and actually landing. Mayfield is still clubbing with his right but is not enjoying the same connecting edge he once did. Forbes is committing to the body, and lands a nice counter right hand upstairs as Mayfield tries to just shove him back to the ropes. Mayfield lands one of his clubbing rights before quickly scurrying back, taking a breather. Forbes shuffles forward with his left low, and catches a grabbing attempt before pushing off. Mayfield lands a right hand on Forbes against the ropes but gets clipped with a hook moments later.

    58-56 Mayfield

I can't wait to see Mayfield get knocked the **** out, and I don't care who does it! This clown is dirty, boring, and just generally sucks!

Forbes is standing through some fire that many others have melted under.

    Round 7

Mayfield is pulling some weird move, tilting his head back like a Pez dispenser and exposing his larynx as he pushes out his left jab like a stick used to poke a dead bird. The dead bird is getting into rhythm, jabbing up from that low-left stance and actually looking to land punches more than grab as he advances. Nice 1-2 by Forbes. Mayfield is starting most of the clinching now, although Forbes doesn't exactly shy away from it. Both miss as Forbes jabs out straight and ducks and Mayfield swipes at him wildly from either side while leaping forward off his toes. Hugging. Mayfield simply powers his way out by flapping his arms together and knocking Forbes back from between them. Clubbing shots to finish the round.

    68-65 Mayfield
