    Round 6

Lopez is still spending more time waving his hands around on the outside than punching (or getting into position to do so). Lundy is a southpaw now. Right jabs are snaked up through Lopez's gloves as Lundy crouches and slides away on his heels very calmly. Lopez falls short with a jab and gets countered hard in the face with a quick left hand. Lopez jabs hard but isn't getting much through as Lundy uses quick steps and upper body movement on the outside. Left uppercut counter from Lundy. Lopez throws a furious volley at Lundy against the ropes for the last ten seconds, lots of punches and all hard - most blocked.

Closest thing yet to a Lopez round, but...no.

    60-53 Lundy

    Round 7

Lopez is jabbing really hard, backing Lundy up, and swinging his forearm to block. Lundy is crouching and trying to spring up with counters but not getting off with many clean ones. Lopez is powering through with some lunging left hand leads, nice and straight. Lundy winces from one. Lundy pumps his right jab and gets moving. Lopez plods after him now, but does land another left hand lead.

    10-9 Lopez

    69-63 Lundy

    Round 8

Lopez comes forward and lands nicely to the body with his left. Lundy is trying to jab out high with his right to catch Lopez in the face and discourage him, but Lopez is in Terminator mode and keeps drilling lefts to the body and making Lundy wince. Lundy doesn't like those one bit. Lopez gets him backed to the ropes. Lopez shimmies side to side, faking Lundy out. Lundy chances an escape sliding along the ropes to his left. Lopez flicks out a 1-2 at the clay pigeon. Lopez is just taking aim and pulling the trigger. Lundy bothered by body punches. Big right hook to the body by Lopez. Lundy runs. Straight up runs. Into the corner. Lopez drills him. Lundy in a turtle shell. Lopez triples his southpaw jab to the face, then gets the left hand working. Big left uppercut to the body by Lopez!!!

    10-9 Lopez

    78-73 Lundy

Well, if Lopez wins the next two rounds - and scores a total of three knockdowns in the process - he can get a draw from me...

...or, he could just knock Lundy out for the win. :yep

    Round 9

Lundy pokes with his right jab and left hand as he keeps his body turned sideways and runs from corner to corner. Lopez walks him down and throws hard to the body, knowing it's vulnerable. Lopez drops his arms straight at his sides and steps backward, perhaps to psyche Lundy out. Lopez jabs his way in and goes for the body but Lundy tries to grab. Lundy keeps retreating and Lopez steps in with that nice left uppercut to the navel. Again. Lopez throws five straight punches up high, crashing into Lundy's guard. HARD LEFT CROSS TO THE SOLAR PLEXUS by Lopez. Lundy hooks with him, and eats a harder right hook. Lopez walks him into the ropes and takes a few fly-swatter counters in order to lean on Lundy and pile leather on him (although Lundy is still moving his head and rolling with a lot).

    10-9 Lopez

    87-83 Lundy

Lundy must be well pleased this isn't set for 12 rounds.

    Good fight!

Teddy has it one round closer than my card. I can't imagine that judges have it any closer than that.

    Lopez NEEDS the knockout here...
