Atlas hasn't given Norwood a single round. :blood (he had the 2nd scored even 10-10).

    What a goober.

    Round 5

Norwood stretches his arms (and neck) as he labors to get his head pressed up against Narh's chest and his arms reached out behind his back. Narh is keeping him out of the pocket with some nice surprise uppercuts and doubled up right hand leads. They tie up and Narh pushes Norwood forward, and their height disparity and the momentum leads to Narh nearly pushing Norwood backward and out of the ring between the middle and bottom ropes. They trade some shots in the middle of the ring, with Narh working his uppercut and Norwood lunging up with his left hand.

    48-47 Sugar Ray

Norwood delays the start of the round as his corner needs to cut and replace the tape on his glove. He is breathing very heavily.

    Round 6

Narh is coming out of his shell a bit more, throwing lots of hard jabs and bringing the right hand around when Norwood's circles lag a little. Narh is totally dominating this round with the jab, as Norwood hasn't taken a single one of his charges in to clinch. WOAH!!! There's the first one! Norwood ducks a Narh jab and DEAD LIFTS THE LARGER NARH!! I thought we were going to see an airplane spin. More Narh jabs.

Easiest round to score all night.

Mark it down, brothers. I rarely get a blue laughy icon out of IB.

    I have won.

    Round 7

Narh is getting bold, leading with uppercuts from the outside. Norwood is completely shying away and doing virtually nothing except turn out his right forearm to block. Narh catches Norwood tangled by his own feet with a quick combo and staggers Norwood (off-balance). Norwood clinches when Narh throws another long uppercut. Norwood looks to line up his left lead. Narh rips him with a nice cross/hook combo. Norwood keeps forearm-blocking and trying to creep his way inside carefully. Narh tries to touch Norwood's face with his jab and barely jerks back out of the way of a quick left hand.

Ha ha, Teddy scribbling on the screen next to a list of names of top light heavyweights.

(scribbles next to Bernard Hopkins "This guy's pretty experienced...")

He isn't even taking this job seriously anymore. :yep

    Round 8

Narh is really going for the KO now, putting right hands behind almost every jab and really driving Norwood back. Narh mixes in right hands to the body and left hooks to the side of the head. Norwood finally manages a brief clinch 2/3 of the way into the round. Narh is landing anything he wants. Norwood slaps out some left hands around the side but is forced again to grab Narh about the waist. Norwood pushes him into the ropes and Narh traps his arm. The ref yells "Let him go, Ray". Narh backs off and resumes jabbing. Norwood falls in on him again and leans into him, and again the ref says "Let him go, Ray" as though Narh were the one initiating the clinch. :nut

    Round 9

Norwood comes forward and has his ears boxed and his head squeezed between Narh's palms. Norwood walks him backward until the break. Narh lands some hard power shots from the outside until Norwood repeats the pattern, always putting his arms straight out past Narh like a pair of chopsticks. He's trying to turn Sugar Ray into Sushi Ray. Meanwhile Ray is putting more and more WASABI on his shots. NORWOOD NEEDS SOME GINGER! Norwood is taking a pounding, mostly with hard jabs. Norwood spins Narh around, rabbit punches him and throws him nearly out of the ring.

    TWO POINT DEDUCTION!!!!

Time in is called and Narh lands a sharp 1-2.

    10-7 Sushi

    88-81 Narh
