    Franco is starting to time Fortuna. I guess I was wrong about Franco fights going backwards, perhaps he is just a slow starter?

    He kind of is, but also Fortuna is also inclined to get poorer the later it goes and Franco probably knew that and game-planned around it heading in.

    Of Fortuna's 16 knockouts, 15 are in the first two rounds.

    Close 6th round, I think Fortuna edged it on activity. Franco is making Fortuna miss and look at silly at times but is not following up with punches.

    Franco is catching Fortuna with the strong jab and textbook left hook up top as Fortuna charges in. Fortuna now brings up his guard, and is shimmying a bit walking forward to slip those steady counters. Fortuna is simply walking Franco down, trying to pin him to the ropes with sheer body weight rather than land any punches. Fortuna is lunging with the slicing left. Franco ducks and Fortuna pushes down on his back. Franco works a free hand downstairs. Franco skips back and ducks. Body shot by Fortuna as they narrow in.

    I hate to agree with Atlas but he is right about Franco. The guy has good defense but he just doesn't let his hands go enough.

    Fortuna is hammering in with lefts over the top. Lots of clinching. Franco is backing up but letting Fortuna walk up and lean on him. They trade jabs stepping apart. Fortuna gets Franco in a headlock. Left to the body by Fortuna, rolling off as Franco gallops sidelong and turns himself. Fortuna shakes Franco off after getting his arms yanked in a clinch. Fortuna pushes the right jab into Franco's stomach, prodding him along. Fortuna is bouncing on his toes, using lots of energy but out-working Franco.

    Those punch stats look like BS to me. Franco has probably landed at a higher clip but he has not thrown as many punches as Fortuna.

    This fight is getting uglier as it goes on LOL. Punches to the back of the head, hugging, etc...

    Fortuna is slashing in wildly with left uppercut leads and wide right hooks. Franco ducks and thrusts his forearms into Fortuna's middle to back him off. Counter left hook by Franco while tucking his chin as Fortuna drops another combo on the back of his head. Flush jab by Franco. 1-2 by Franco as Fortuna backs up and tries slipping punches with movement above the waist keeping the hands down. They flurry into a clinch.
