Boxing scoring is always subjective. If you favor workrate/activity, you will score wide for Kim. If you favor accuracy, you would score for Rahimov.

This is just one of those fights that could reasonably be seen either way, depending on what you value as a judge.

Everyone saying that Kim deserved the win shouldn't say **** about Paul Williams getting the W over Lara.

IB i respect ur pov and i know how to score boxing bro. I understand that RAH landed some clean shots but he was getting tagged 6-1 and he was getting Clock clean occasionally. Kim set the pace and ran with it land lots and some good while rah just land good ONCE IN A WHILE.

I'm going to rewatch Ji-Hoon Kim vs Lenny Zapp to get over the $100 I just lost.

Uh, yes. Actually, it's exactly like that. No doubt Kim landed more (mostly slaps), but Rahimov wasn't playing patty-cake back. Kim is durable, so he wasn't reacted to them in an exaggerated way or getting visibly stunned - but Rahimov was clearly landing harder. You could tell by the ripples going through Kim's body when he received a right hand.

    You high? :yep

Exactly. How can you give an edge in 'effective' punches when no when showed signs of being hurt?

    Not sayin'.

Rahimov ain't that heavy handed, he hits slightly harder than Kim. Slightly.

Yea except homeboys accuracy is once every 30 secs. Hell Kim will score clean in that amount of time. Not to mention the constant onslaught.

Because Kim's a freak, who can take a lot of punishment without blinking. (Zappa blowout notwithstanding... :yep Rahimov isn't a one-punch KO artist, though...so it wasn't like you were going to see Kim getting rocked around and turned cross-eyed with single blows)
