Well that just makes perfect sense!:patsch

The difference here is Lara was actually landing meaningful punches, alot of them.

Rahimov was not really doing much of ****. Sure a few here and there...

    Nice try Mr. Wizard:hi:

Regardless, that means the punches weren't that effective. It doesn't count if they would be effective on someone else. They weren't effective against Kim. That is how the judges have to score the effectiveness.

So if Wladimir Klitschko and Zuri Lawrence both fought Olly McCall and both were taken the distance and he never showed signs of being seriously hurt by either and his skin didn't bust up - you couldn't say that Wladimir landed the more effective blows on him than Zuri did? :huh (which...I mean, come on. Even if Olly never blinked...)

For the record, I've said it before and will repeat again that Rahimov isn't a big one-shot power hitter IMO - but he was definitely landing harder than Kim all night long, and not by a small margin. It would be just as silly to say Kim was outworking him by a small margin.

Actually, some of us have seen as much or more of Rahimov than of Kim.

Looking at this thread and people saying Alisher didn't deserve the win and all the other BS, makes me feel good about my cards even more, because these are the people who actually try to **** on my cards.

No. I'm saying you can't use other fights when judging a current fight. Were Rahmiov's punches against Kim more effective than vice versa? Neither guy was hurt so you can't give Rahimov the edge on the assumption that they would be more effective against a third party. If Kim can take a better punch is irrelevant to the current evaluation of effective. Rahimov's punchers were no more effective against Kim than vice versa tonight even if they were harder.

Yeah, biasedness...there's a gem. Let's just add eight superfluous letters.

But you could see that they were harder. :huh They don't need to have visibly affected Kim on the spot (ie prompted a physical reaction from him such as wobbling or eyes rolling back or anything) to be said to have been effective. Hard blows accumulate, and even though Kim wasn't outwardly showing it in the moment you have to think that blatantly eating flush hard punches is doing something to him in the long run.
