Guzman smacks down with his hammer right, and then droops down and does some fancy above-the-waist acrobatics to slip several of Pabon's slaps. Guzman is whirling his right hand around behind his back, clowning like crazy. Pabon is circling away to his left, and slapping out high with right hooks when Guzman comes chopping in with his lead rights. They jab together and both land, Pabon's actually a bit flusher and making Guzman grimace. Left uppercut, right hook combo by Pabon while backing up - but soft. Guzman walks right through the shots and lands a right to back Pabon on the ropes. Big left hook by Guzman. Point deducted from Pabon for holding after multiple warnings.

Round 7

Pabon sticks his right jab. Guzman moves his head, angles around Pabon and flutters several left jabs into his mouth. Pabon dives down and grabs, risking a DQ so soon after having had a point taken for holding. Guzman is strutting around with his chin up and hands down, pot shotting with jabs and kicking his legs out behind him like a track star. Guzman is grinning, and showboating some more with that right hand going like helicopter rotors out behind him. Guzman lets Pabon take the lead with ill-aimed lead lefts to the body, and shimmies a step out of the way to casually counter with jabs and clubbing rights. Guzman is taking this round off and still winning with ease. Lots of smooth upper body defense by Guzman, as Pabon walks forward missing and then grabbing.

Literally the best Pabon can do (without knocking Guzman down) at this point is 97-89...if he sweeps the last three...

 

Round 8

Pabon pushes into Guzman and slaps him with lefts and rights, up against the ropes. Pabon is really going for it and getting licks in to head and body, but Guzman is grinning and not the least bit bothered. Pabon pumps away with straight shots, throwing everything with bad intentions as Guzman taps him with counter upper-hooks while pivoting and leaning side to side. Guzman is getting drilled with some stuff but seems to be having fun, and enjoying these exchanges. Guzman suddenly loads up off the ropes with a BIG LEFT HOOK!!!!!! PABON DOWN AND OUT COLD!!!!! KO!!!

Jesus Pabon tries to scramble and is ordered forcefully to "STAY DOWN!" by the ref, until he can receive medical attention.
