    Well I was wondering why he was so bad, but he is a BJJ specialist. I guess he figured the best way to improve his striking was to get into boxing matches. Not bad in theory.

    Really? They are having an event on the UC Irvine campus in a couple of weeks. Not the Honda Center or even Home Depot. A college campus.

    Dominguez coming in loading up on rights. Dominguez throwing left and fight hooks to the head. Nice left hook from MOntoya. Dominguez pressing and eats a right hook from Dominguez. Montoya popping his jab and eats a left hook and right hand. Rigth hands to the body and rights to the head of Montoya.

    Montoya lands a hard left and and right and backs Dominguez up. Dominguez turns MOntoya around and starts banging his body and head again.

    Dominguez is barreling into Montoya and unloading on him. Jabs and rights by Dominguez as Montoya staggers in flight and has his curls stood on end by the unrelenting punches of Dominguez. None of Dominguez's shots are particularly sharp and he isn't sitting down on them very hard, but he's blasting Montoya pretty regularly. Montoya tries a wide hook backing up and misses by a foot. Montoya is pushed back by jabs and rights, some bypassing his face and leaving him struck more obliquely with Dominguez's arm. Montoya stages a late rally and buys some space at the end of the round, actually landing a few times.

    It's kind of funny...it seemed as though Montoya's "on the job training" kind of paid off in the last thirty seconds of the third, and almost allowed him to steal it...But his performance up till that point was so atrocious that there was no way that this could possibly happen.
