    Round 8

Herrera is pitching jabs and uppercuts, willingly leaving his face wide open to quick counter hooks from Dallas. Both men commit to what has brought them success, Dallas sliding away and popping combos and Herrera just throwing himself over him like a blanket and letting his hands go with purpose if not speed. Dallas is outlanding him considerably this round, to the head and body. Herrera is holding and wrestling a bit, no longer controlling Dallas in the clinch. Hard hook to the stomach by Dallas and then a right uppercut to the back as Herrera turns to cover up.

    10-9 Dallas

    76-76

Weird. I have the same score at this point, but...

Dallas is the black guy, you know. :yep

I literally saw both those rounds clearly the other way.

Herrera bossed him in the 7th with body work, and Dallas landed tons of combos in the 8th. :think

Dallas should use his jab more when Herrera is walking him down. When he throws it, it seems pretty stiff.

    Round 9

Herrera is getting his head turned by the quick if not powerful shots of Dallas (still not arm punches by any means) but is getting rewarded by finding himself in position to throw point-blank uppercuts and flurries up top. Of course Dallas is landing more in the exchanges but Herrera is cracking him a bit. BIG left hook by Herrera, leaves Dallas' cheeks quivering. Another one. Dallas shoves him across the ring with his elbows, flurrying with his forearms. Herrera keeps lining up right uppercuts to the chest, but is taking 4-5 punches in the time it's taking him to **** and release one.

    10-9 Dallas

    86-85 Dallas

I think this is a "i am" fight for dallas, and can respect that if it is indeed that case.

otherwise, yea I agree, Dallas could control the fight much better if he used the jab more.

Dallas throwing a lot in that round but missing a lot as well. Herrera being more thoughtful but picking them well, I lean towards Herrera there better punches thrown and landed although Dallas had the activity.
