Tolmajyan is pressing Maysonet toward the ropes, jabbing economically out of a slight leaning crouch. Maysonet flurries to create a diversion as he angles off the ropes, with no intention of harming Tolmajyan. Maysonet circles to his right and pushes a weak jab from the end of his range. BIG left hand by Tolmajyan, cutting the ring off and surprising Maysonet from his flank. Straight right jabs and big whipping lefts by Tolmajyan, walking Maysonet down. Maysonet hops from side to side, nervous, bleeding from the nose.

Exactly, he's like a sheltered kid. You would think he was some amateur being thrown into the deep end here instead of being only a few total career matches behind Tolmajyan.

 

He is as slick as steel wool.

Tolmajyan is moving in, holding his upper body over to his left, kicking inside with both legs in one fluid motion and putting up the right jab to set up big cannonball lefts. Maysonet dances around the ring and paws his weak jab. Slapping hook by Maysonet, mostly just meant to distract as he works his way off the ropes. Tolmajyan keeps stalking.

Round 8

Tolmajyan is circling right, jabbing, taking another step. Maysonet drops a jab at him and Tolmajyan blocks, answering with a high left to force Maysonet into retreat. Maysonet dances to his left and carries himself into a clinch with a stray uppercut. Tolmajyan crab-walks into him and Maysonet smothers him in another clinch. High right jab by Tolmajyan, making Maysonet duck in toward him looking to grab. Tolmajyan denies the clinch by pivoting away and looping his left fist into Maysonet's face, making him blink and wobble. Tolmajyan keeps moving forward, and turns aside to dodge a slow and loose right hand lead from outside. Maysonet is lobbing in shots after skipping back several paces to perhaps try and seize the advantage with his longer reach, but his shots are washing up against Tolmajyan's elbows or missing outright. Double right jabs by Tolmajyan invariably get Maysonet to duck into the path of that left hand.
