Cruz is pretty damn sloppy and wide with his shots.

Teddy just dropped one of his famed PB&J analogies!!!

"Burgos DKSAPB&J. He puts the peanut butter on (jabs), steps out - NO JELLY (power/body punches)!!"

    Round 2

Wild shots by Cruz barreling in. Burgos makes him miss and tries to slap out low at the body while leaning his upper body back out of harm's way. Wild lunging rights over the top and left hooks to the midsection by Cruz leaping in. Burgos is taking quick backward steps and countering with hooks and rights, then trying to establish his jab in a rhythm from outside before Cruz can break it. They trade jabs from outside, and obviously Cruz's comes nowhere close. Burgos scoots back and leans his upper body away, making Cruz miss several shots but getting clipped with the pinky knuckle of a high lunging right.

    20-18 Burgos

He's never supposed to win these kinds of fights. He's just supposed to be a tough live opponent. He's a solid journeymen though.

    Round 3

Big uppercut by Cruz rushing in. Burgos is pressed back and is hanging outside, throwing nothing. Cruz stabs at the body with a right hand, and Burgos tries to counter with a hook to the head but it's blunted. Cruz comes charging in again and throws some windmills, and loses his balance as Burgos taps him on the chest with a right uppercut. Cruz goes down, and it's ruled a slip. Atlas and Tessitore feel it ought to have been a KD. Cruz comes hopping in throwing overhand rights and backing Burgos up to the ropes without answer.

    10-9 Cruz

    29-28 Burgos

    29-28 Cruz

Double phantom knockdown. Burgos needs to stand his ground and stop getting on his bike everytime Cruz comes inside.

Tessatore is a terrible analyst, everyone can see the fall was caused by their legs being tangled and that is what caused the slip.
