Nah I don't see Santana knocking out Perez. I'd take that out of the outcomes.

    Round 5

Perez hurls himself inside with jabs to the body and overhands up top. Santana tips himself over to the left and right, trying to both slip punches and get himself in position to land a left hook downstairs. Flush jab to the jaw by Perez backs Santana up. A light shoeshine to the gloves by Santana. Perez answers with a hard uppercut leaning inside. Big left hook to the ribs by Perez. Santana curls his taller frame up, trying to absorb most of Perez's shots on his left side with his arm held out as a shield. Perez just whacks it aside and keeps targeting the body. Left hook to the temple by Santana while getting backed up.

    50-45 Perez

I'm just assuming there is a method to his madness and he's got a big right hand he's waiting to set up.

Round 5 Perez. It's obvious he has more experience amateur and going rounds.

    49-46 Perez

Santana had a better 5th round but still didn't do enough to win the round IMO. Perez reminds me a little bit of Carlos Molina.

Santana is lucky Perez can't punch otherwise Santana would be in big trouble.

    Round 6

Boom! There's the right hand by Santana, and a left hook. Perez takes it with aplomb and backs Santana straight up to the ropes with his own high-reaching left hook to the cheekbone. Perez continuously hooks away and is really smashing Santana at will now, trotting in and landing uppercuts at short range as well. Santana tries to hook at the buzz-cut of Perez but is ducked and backed up by the aggressive up-and-down attacks of the smaller man. Santana is pushed back to the ropes and tackles into Perez shoulder first coming off them. Perez pushes out his jab. Sloppy noodling by Perez now, just laying his arms all over Santana but not really landing. There's a solid right hand by Perez. Santana is pushed back to the ropes and tries to land a left hook to the hip but eats a few glancing rights before he can pull the trigger.

    60-54 Perez

I'm sorry to say, but FNF is not as good as it used to be.

Nothing is ever as good as it used to be...

2011 was one of the best FNF we have had in a while.

this year not really the greatest. Most of it I will blame on the match making.
