Burgos is throwing the 1-2 and double jab as he shuffles laterally. 1-2-uppercut-hookercut by Burgos. Amidu comes forward and uses bobbling head feints to get Burgos jabbing and then pigeons his neck to avoid them. Left hooks and right hands coming forward by Amidu. Burgos goes to the body a bit and throws combinations while edging his back off the ropes and looking to circle free. Amidu is pressing in chopping and missing, but also slipping the counter jabs of Burgos.

I'm shocked to see Amidu looking 'hungrier' in there.

 

Round 8

Burgos is throwing combos, starting with a sharp 1-2 and then whipping in a much less substantial hook or uppercut while stepping away. Burgos switches to a left hook downstairs after the 1-2 up top, slapping down with it. Amidu is walking forward jabbing and missing from the turtle shell. Lead rights by Amidu miss. Burgos is crouching and leaning, under the Amidu jab, coming up with a straight flurry. Left hook slap on the hip by Burgos, setting himself back on his heels to keep his balance as Amidu looks to trap him on the ropes. Burgos leans back to slip and counter with light bursts.
