Damn I had a small wager on Amidu, too. Burgos was 1/20.....

Ten cents...on the dollar. (apparently five cents, some places)

So pretty much anyone who bet on Burgos, must have bet a lot to make it worth it.

    So... :!:

I have no problem whatsoever with the draw, but the judge who gave it 116-112 for Amidu needs to be brought in to review his scoring, and then probably suspended. A unanimous or majority draw, I would have had no problem with. But even 7-5 for Amidu would have been stretching it. I feel bad for Burgos, but a draw doesn't kill him, and hopefully ESPN brings him back again.

I've always felt you should get your stake back on a draw. I mean who the fck bets on a draw, anyway?

You do unless you made a prop bet.

I don't follow. Explain. Where I was betting, you had 3 options, one being a draw. They won't give me money back, I doubt.

Yep. I remember Eubank with 2 draws in a row back in the day. 3 or more, dunno. Probably some journeyman getting robbed

For my bookie you get two different sections...one where you choose the winner straight up (+ over/under if offered) and another section for prop bets where you can choose a draw etc. If you made a straight up bet (ive probably got the wrong terminology) and it ends in a draw you get your money back.

I guess it all depends on the website you use. I know what you're saying though, that's how soccer bets are made with the draw option to screw you.

Thank you. I can sleep in now, otherwise I would have got up at 5 AM.

Hmmm, yes well I use a UK bookie. It was only the princely sum of £15 anyway, but still. The draw option in football, which isn't soccer, isn't a bad bet at all. Draws in football are common. Nobody bets on boxing draws, though.
