    The ringside physician delays Lacy answering the bell, imploring him to protect himself. Lacy nods sheepishly and walks out to meet his maker. Low blow by Barrera. Point taken. Barrera is jabbing high. Wild overhand left by Lacy, falling in, head down. Barrera backs him out with a 1-2. Barrera jabs, Lacy ducks, and Barrera hooks off the jab, cuffing Lacy on the side of the head before he straightens up. Barrera is sticking the jab and fading back, making Lacy miss his counter jabs from the crouch. Lacy is just a touch slow on trigger. Lacy continuously complains of phantom rabbit punches, every time Barrera lashes him with a long right. Lacy is pushed into the ropes, getting licked as he covers up. Uppercut, left hook, right hand by Barrera. Lacy sinks into a corner, trying to roll with punches turning at the waist and firing weak counters. 1-2 by Barrera. The ref steps in.

    F'ing crazy - compare the first three guys Jeff lost to, with the next three.

    Calzaghe (inducted into IBHOF in 2014), Taylor (2-time middleweight champion, first time lineal), Jones (ATG, will be 1st ballot IBHOF when eligible) -and then ~.500-record Dhafir freaking Smith and these lazy-ass Cuban no-marks, Savigne & Barrera.
