Holt looked pretty bad against Garcia. I scored it 116-112 to Garcia (somehow), generous to Holt in my opinion when re-counting the entirety of the fight and how overall uninspired and lazy Holt looked.

Abraham Lopez vs. Gabriel Tolmajian, 8 rounds @ featherweight

GT is a tricky southpaw, and is a friend and sparring partner of Vanes Martirosyan.

Abraham Lopez is a former US Marine, who has sparred with Izzy Vazquez.

    Round 1

Tolmajian is shimmying left and right and swinging big wrecking ball left uppercuts at Lopez behind his set-up right jab. Lopez is backing up and trying to line up straighter combos, pumping the left jab and looking to fire the right cross but unable to get it over at the taller Tolmajian's head while moving backward. Tolmajian keeps pressing in, swinging his right arm low. Lopez feints with a few jabs, and then throws a sudden combo with his arms wrapping around the back of Tolmajian's neck. Right jab by Tolmajian. Lopez throws a lead right and gets ducked.

    10-9 Tolmajian

    Round 2

Tolmajian is tiptoeing forward and pushing right jabs. He winds up a right hook and gets countered by a straight right down the pipe as Lopez takes a lunging step inside. Lopez is putting wide left hooks together with his right hand, missing the former but making some contact with the latter. Tolmajian is hunkering down and looking to meet Lopez coming in with right hooks to the face. Left hand lead by Tolmajian. Right hook. Lopez backs up. Hook-2 southpaw combo by Tolmajian, landing on the jaw of Lopez as he came lunging forward with a jab. 1-2 by Lopez, grazes as Tolmajian moves his head coming forward. Clinch. Tolmajian shoves Lopez back a few feet. Tolmajian slaps up high with a right hook but gets caught up on Lopez's left elbow, then lands his left uppercut. Lopez misses a big left hook.

    20-18 Tolmajian

    Round 3

Tolmajian comes forward and lands some long morningstar left hands. Lopez is trying to catch him by timing his 1-2 as Tolmajian comes forward awkwardly dipping from side to side in a relaxed and fluid stance. Lopez isn't able to land cleanly, and misses even worse when he tries to hook the body. Tolmajian is bombing away from outside, landing the left uppercut well and exhibiting some very good defense while pressuring.

    30-27 Tolmajian
