    Round 7

Good strong lead right by Lopez. Tolmajian is swinging his right arm at his side, throwing lead right hooks and then leaning back and/or ducking down when Lopez tries to counter with jabs and chopping rights. Tolmajian is barely getting touched. Clinch. Heads grinding. Lopez chases Tolmajian out of the pocket after the break and taps him on the nose with a reaching right hand. Tolmajian is swatting with his right hook, taking Lopez's jab away by parrying it down toward his crotch. Lopez throws a straight lead right and is countered by a looping left as Tolmajian leans back.

    10-9 Tolmajian

    69-64 Tolmajian

Lopez could have done himself some favors by attacking the body more. And as most of his hooks are ducked under, he has no mind to throw an uppercut.

I hope HBO doesn't get pissed that Roy briefly provided commentary for another network.

    Round 8

Clinch. Lopez powers his way out of it with some left and right uppercuts. Tolmajian is trying to hold often now. Lopez bangs him high on the face with a lead right and Tolmajian flops on him to grab again. Tolmajian trots back and drops his right arm straight down past his knee, pot shotting with right up jabs as he waits for Lopez. Tolmajian circles left, and throws a quick little speedbag flurry to the face. Lopez keeps stalking, stepping laterally and trying to get a jab on Tolmajian. Right jab to the face by Tolmajian as he quickly runs out in a wide circle to get nearly behind Lopez. More slow and steady pressure by Lopez, not letting his hands go until he's well within range and letting Tolmajian backpedal out. Right hand by Lopez. Another.

    10-9 Lopez

    78-74 Tolmajian

I could see the 6th going to Lopez depending on what you favored. Maybe the 2nd as wel, so at a stretch I could see a draw instead of a win for Tolmajian. If Lopez stays unbeaten, he's lucky - and if he gets win #17 he's very lucky.

Sucks there has to be an * attached to this one, as that weight advantage is just not fair .

It would be different if this was a heavyweight fight.

Bernardo Osuna has it a draw, having given Chamaco the 2nd.

    Teddy Atlas has 77-75 Tolmajian.
