I do think questions linger about his heart despite what he showed against Berto (who was quite overrated IMO) - but on the other hand he represents a very credible opponent for Mayweather...even if he is the rare champion underdog.

What is it in the water in Argentina that makes their fighters such bad asses?

    Round 1

Lujan comes marching forward and throws some shoulder feints to get Melligen cowering back. Big left hand lead to the side of the neck by Melligen, who begins to slide his feet around and get warmed up while regaining some ground against Lujan. Several left jabs bunched together by Lujan on a yo-yo string. Right hook to the body by Melligen. Lujan is popped with stiff right jabs and walked around the ring. Lujan falls in with a right hand to the body and gets knocked back with a stiff check jab. Lujan is getting rocked with many big shots while slipping even more on the outside near the ropes. Waving jab by Lujan to blind Melligen, who loads up a big left uppercut and just misses. Lujan dives in with a right to the body and continues to narrowly evade bombs from Melligen.

    10-9 Melligen

Lujan is what boxing is all about (or should be). I'm a big fan.

Melligen is doing quite well for himself, though.

He got smashed up by Brit-Bum Jamie Moore in 2007 whos now retired, he hasn't fought outside Argentina since that fight except against shot Castillo, feasting on poor competition for years now.

Melligan is looking good but Lujan is the kind of fighter I like to root for too. He's a hard worker in there
