    I agree that their differences are more than similarities, but to say there are no similarities is foolish.

    I do think Gesta can plant his feet on the inside, and stay in the pocket, and use his head, and upper body movement better to dodge shots, and pick counter-punches off. . . Something Pacquiao has never really been able to do. . Pacquiao just throws the earmuffs on, whereas Gesta will use his upper body movement, and pick single shots, and look for openings for counter shots on the inside.

    Maybe he's trying to be like him in terms of being a Filipino because he wants to win fans back home. If anything, he's trying to be more like Nonito Donaire. Don't get me wrong, there are some similarities between him and Pac. But not a lot.

    Big left hands torpedoed out by Gesta on the front foot. Barnett is drifting outside and trying to circle wide. Big sloppy swings by Gesta while stepping forward. Another similar combo as Barnett pulls straight back and he connects with both the looping left and the right hook! Barnett needs to stay far away to avoid getting rocked, a point Gesta drives further home with a concussive left hand lead delivered at mid range. Big right hook wound up by Gesta, thrown a bit offline from his target and resulting in his elbow wrapping around Barnett's throat and both of them getting spun around until Jay Nady intervenes. Barnett lands a jab.
