Exactly! I had it 96-94 Mensah, I feel he clearly won a close fight. That judge who scored it 98-92 might get jumped by Atlas in the parking lot. He was pretty pissed off by such a outrageous scorecard.

@Bama I think you might have tunnel-vision or something homie, Katsidis won rounds 1, 2, 6 & 7 there shouldn't be a whole lot of debate there brother. :hat

 

Nope he did not win 1,2, or 6. In those rounds while bringing pressure none of it was effective and Mensah was always landing the harder and crisper counter shots would smothering or blocking all Katsidis's work.

Katsidis outlanded Mensah by a wide margin, in most people's scoring criteria that don't live in Bizaro-land that's enough to win a round.

 

I don't buy compubox, compustat, or any other on the fly "boxing statisitical" service as being anywhere close to legit.

Fact is you score rounds based on effectiveness of aggression, clean punching, ring generalship, and defense.

In all but 1 round Mensah dominated Katsidis in all 4 facets.

 

Mensah rocked and jolted Katsidis head in nearly every round with clean shots which is better work than Kats mostly blocked

combinations.
