Gonzalez is sticking right jabs and rolling in the pocket, shoulders pinched together as he dips in and swirls in front of Carcamo. Big alternating uppercuts by Carcamo, targeting Gonzalez's body while backing up. 1-2s into the face by Gonzalez and looping lefts pushing Carcamo into the ropes. Flush counter left by Gonzalez as Carcamo straps a long right hand across Gonzalez's ear.

Round 6

Gonzalez is tackling Carcamo into the ropes and peppering him with oar-rowing rights and light wind-up lefts on the face. Uppercuts grinding in by Gonzalez. BIG right hand lead down the middle by Carcamo, following with a left hook and wobbling Gonzalez momentarily. Gonzalez recovers and circles away flipping right jabs. Carcamo is leading with BIG left hooks, landing on the neck as Gonzalez backs up. Light body shots and 1-2s by Gonzalez dancing in and out. Carcamo walks him down, pumping in rights and then lefts. Clinch.

Round 7

Gonzalez is getting pushed into the ropes and hit with straight combos on the belly. Big uppercuts now put together by Carcamo to pin Gonzalez in place. Gonzalez leans back, sagging into the ropes and spring-loading his pecking right jabs before falling back again. Gonzalez walks along the ropes and beckons the stalking Carcamo. Gonzalez circles off the ropes and sticks a few stiff right up-jabs in the face. Carcamo is marching forward and raising both arms vertically in front of his face to screen out Gonzalez's light flurries off the right jab. Big whipping body shots by Carcamo walking through Gonzalez's jab and pinning him on the ropes. Clinch by Gonzalez. A couple of nice left hand leads by Gonzalez, but not enough to steal it late.

Atlas has it 68-64 to Carcamo through seven. He gave the seventh to Gonzalez, which IMO Gonzalez really didn't earn. (he attempted to pull a "SRL", but no dice...)
