MMC chasing and lunging, showing heart though running on fumes.

Ojeda is walking him onto BIG counter left hooks on the back-foot, not following up although Meza-Clay is obviously stunned and simply taking additional steps forward instead of retreating or covering up.

Brutal 9th for the moxied midget.

Meza had a strong 10th round, driving forward with both hands churning. But Ojeda is way ahead, so too little too late, on my card, as well as all three of the judges.

I had it 98-82 Ojeda. So did Glenn Feldman, while the other two judges had it 99-91.

    Ojeda was effective, but boring.

Monty's problem is he just doesn't have the size (relative to his weight class), pop, or speed of footwork to fight the way he fights. (relentless swarming pressure)

You need at least ONE item from the above list. Or a modicum of each, like Ricky Hatton.

Ojeda was very skillful but was trying to be a bit too slick. He needs to have confidence in his punches more.

Also Clay's tribute to Maidana was cute, but he's got to realize fighting like Madiana only works for Maidana :D
